Font	Times or Helvetica
Point Size	12
Margins	1" all around from edge First page 1" from top for name 3" from top for title Succeeding pages 1" from top
Text Indent	0.5" from margin
Line Spacing	Double space text and between sections
Headers	Contain student last name and page number Used for pages after title page
Page Number Placement	Top right corner outside text block 0.5" from top of page with your last name before it
Quotation Marks	Periods and commas inside; ! and ? are outside unless originally a part of the quotation
Short Quotes	3 lines or less; keep in text identified with double quotation marks "; identify quotes within quotes by using single quotation marks '
Long Quotes	Set off from main text with comma or colon; indent 1" form left margin; no quotation marks except for a quote within a quote, which uses single quotation marks
Acknowledging Resources	Must include reference (e.g. last name of author) and page number
Bibliography/Work Cited/References	"Work Cited" as title Alphabetical order Follow MLA format
Tables	Place as close to relevant text as possible, or on page following.
