CRITERIA FOR CHOOSING STUDENT OF THE MONTH


* Improvement in or good grades (not necessarily “A” honor roll, non-honor roll students should receive first consideration)
* Good attendance or improvement in attendance
* Character
* Behavior
* Attitude toward others/learning
* Good citizenship or improvement in citizenship
* Classroom participation
* Demonstrates responsibility
* Respectful to peers and teachers

Every classroom teacher should nominate one student monthly for awards during the PTSA. The next PTSA meeting and the first award ceremony is scheduled for 3/12/09.
